The National MuseumThe National Museum in Accra, Ghana houses ethnographic, archaeological, and fine art exhibits. The museum was opened in 1957 as part of Ghana's independence celebration.
Archaeological artifacts give us a look into life as far back as the Stone Age. Ethnographic displays include leather work, textiles, wood carvings, a full traditional kitchen, traditional instruments, and more. Paintings and sculptures of modern artists are also on display. |
