Salsa Dancing in Accra

Every Wednesday night from 7 - 10 pm, Salsa Mania, a big salsa dancing party, is held at Coconut Grove Regency Hotel. They play all the latest salsa and reggaeton music, and the dance floor is packed.

Apparently, salsa dancing has become very popular in Ghana recently, and a lot of the party goers really know what they're doing. You will see people spinning, turning, dipping, and having a great time.

Not to worry though, there is an hour of free lessons at the beginning of every party, and the teachers are happy to take you for a spin around the dance floor during the open dancing session after that. If you are a fan of salsa music or dancing at all, you have to visit this spot.
